Developing novel surgical techniques and solutions for challenging problems is one of the most gratifying parts of my work as a neurosurgeon.  I am honored by my partners and colleagues from other disciplines and in the region who refer some of the most complex cases to me.  I enjoy the challenge of trying to develop a new operation or approach to address a problem for which there was no previously existing satisfying solution.  I hope to continue innovating and developing new treatments for these challenging pathologies.
